The Raw Diamonds Vase is part of the collection Designer’s Cut by Menu. Raw Diamonds mixes traditional and modern elements and motives. The idea behind it was to rediscover porcelain creating then fascinating surfaces.
From outside, the Raw Vase seems accordingly raw and facets-rich just like a diamond. Inside of it, the vase possesses a smooth surface and it is decorated with a colourful motive. It reminds of a mix of modern tattoos and Japanese flower patterns.
Raw Diamonds is a product-series by Design By Us. Raw Diamonds includes bowls, mugs, plates and a vase and is part of the Designer’s Cut collection from Menu.
Designer’s Cut is a tribute to free, creative forces and should break the classic dilemma of designers: that creativity uses to be stopped by finances or practical interests that are opposed to the original ideas. Leaning on the “Director’s Cut” of the movie’s area, Menu’s Director’s Cut enables the realization of designer’s ideas just like they were initially thought.
